Lectures on the history and art of Venice

As part of an ongoing initiative, Venicescapes has developed a series of lectures to allow visiting groups the opportunity to learn more extensively about Venice and its history, art, and architecture in the relaxed environment of a conference room.  Historical maps, charts, diagrams, and photographs are used in dynamic and illustrative video presentations to provide participants a clear understanding of key issues in Venetian history while allowing them to dialogue directly with local historians.

For individual travelers seeking to take full advantage of their time in the city and maximize personal sightseeing, these same presentations can also be enjoyed on a private basis in the comfort of a hotel lounge.

In addition to the extant lectures, Venicescapes can also custom develop presentations with new topics to meet the specific needs and interests of groups traveling to the city.
